JOB TITLE: Finance and Grants Manager
FULL/PART TIME: Full-time
REGULAR/TEHPORARY: Regular
LOCATION: Kampala. Uganda
REPORTING TO: Chief of Party
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Chief of Party (COP) the Finance & Grants Manager will be impossible for overall accounting and financial management of the Act to End NTDS | East project in Uganda.
The Finance & Grants Manager will work closely with COR technical staff, and RTI regional and home office staff to ensure project resources are effectively and efficiently used in order to achieve project objectives and results.
The position supervises the Finance Assistant Procurement Specialist. and Grants Specialist and ensures financial and operational information is provided to project leadership. regional and home office staff and technical staff for timely decision making.
The Finance & Grants Manager must ensure diat project implementation is done in an environment of strong controls and diat die project complies with RTI and USND rules and regulations.
S/He will ensure appropriate systems and procedures(cash management, vendor payments. budgeting and forecasting, procurement. property management grant management and other related financial and operational/tasks) are in place to ensure that the project operate efficiently, using resources effectively and with in the budget of the project..

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accounting and Treasury
• Budget Management
• Procurement and Logistics management
• Grants management.
• Team Leadership

Job Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s degree and 9 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience in Business Administration financial Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have completed CPFLACCA.
• Experience working with USAID.
