Job Title: 15 Laboratory Technicians
Report to: Science Subject Teacher.

Job Summary:

The Lab technician serves in the science laboratories by conducting of a wide variety of science subject experiments, helping subiect teachers setup specimen and equipment, supporting students conduct laboratory experiments including making requests for purchase of laboratory specimen and equipment, entering data for reporting, storage of samples, cleaning up equipment, and providing required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively while adhering to standard operating procedures for education and safety. ln addition, the hefshe helps the subject teacher monitor and maintain the laboratory, making detailed ohsenrations, laboratory inventory, taking preventive protective actions and ensures health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the laboratory.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Laboratory Technology/Education or a related discipline (Degree is an added advantage). 3 years‘ experience in a similar iob role or a related function.
• The ideal candidate should have sound values; good laboratory practice, Laboratory waste-management and disposal skills;
• Basic Statistical knowledge; forecasting, teaching and management skills, team-management; ability to communicate effectively: strong interpersonal skills; results-driven; ability to work independently and take initiative; and demonstrated discretion.Job Skills: Not Specified

Job Experience Requirements: 3 years
